Sample Size-8 oz. -Transfer Gel can be used over paint on furniture, cabinetry, mouldings, walls, ceilings, and any previously painted nonporous surfaces.

Application:

Brush Transfer Gel liberally on desired surface. Apply paper with print face down (make sure print is mirror image).  Use a smoothing tool to adhere paper evenly to surface. Allow paper to dry to assure the image has transferred (30 or more minutes). Spritz paper with water, then use sponge or cloth to remove or rub away paper. Apply Artisan Enhancements® Clear Topcoat to seal.

Product Storage:

Seal container tightly and do not let freeze or expose to direct sunlight or extreme heat. Do not apply product when air and surface temperatures are below (50°F) 10°C.

The Transfer Gel from Artisan Enhancements has a halo where you've applied the medium due to the flat sheen of Chalk Paint®. Sand back lightly with 400 grit sand paper around the edges and one your color wash, dry brush, use Annie Sloan Craqueleur Crackle Varnish or other techniques-the halo will disappear.  The Transfer Gel will transfer any black and white or color laser (not ink jet) images.

Additional Tips: Mix the product well. Coat the area to cover and to the image- apply the image face down. (Make sure if you are using typography that it is reversed.). Press down from the middle to remove any bubbles.   For black and white let dry for 45-60 minutes or more, for color laser images letting the image set overnight works best.  Spritz the paper with water to saturate it, then rub the layer of paper with a sponge then use your fingers to rub off the excess paper, add more water as needed. Don't rub too hard, you don't want to remove the image.  Seal with wax or a sealer, especially over the color laser prints, it will remove the haze that can occur.
