NEW Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint® Wax in White:

This is the smaller small and great for adding white wax touches to your pieces.

White Wax can give a lovely coatal look when applied all over and especially in the grooves and onlays.

You can also get a Limed Oak look by applying the White Wax directly over the oak and rubbing into the grain and then wiping away the excess wax.

Tip: Apply a layer of clear wax prior to applying White Wax.  This will give your more control with the wax. You can also remove some of the White Wax in areas, if you wish by using clear wax on a paper towel and wipe off.

Brush on a layer of Annie Sloan Clear Wax, lightly massage in with towel (I like the Better Than Cheesecloth Towels™) then while that is still wet....immediately apply Chalk Paint® White  Wax over it and then wipe the excess wax off using paper towels (so you won't stain your cloth towels).  Check for streaks by gently using your fingertip and run down your piece in various areas.  If you have streaks wipe more. Let set overnight and buff the following day.

The one and only Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Wax has the consistency of soft margerine making it easy to apply.

It works as a system to seal and protect Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint®.  It has little odor, once cured (1 coat in 1 week and 2 coats it will cure in 3 weeks) it is a very durable surface.  The Clear Wax especially works beautifully on tables (apply at least two coats of wax on table tops and surfaces that see a lot of action), we use it on our kitchen cabinet commissions and they hold up beautifully.  Nothing beats an artisan hand waxed finish on a piece of furniture.  Wipe with a soft cloth to dust, a mild cleaner like Clorox Wipes when needed...please no pledge or similar over wax.
